Requirements for Ordering Custom Printed Shade Memo Samples

To ensure your custom printed roller shade memo accurately represents the final product (especially text size, logo scale, and background), we follow a clear two-step process:

1. Digital Proof First Before printing any physical memo, we need an approved digital proof in our system.

   • Please specify the exact text size you want and clearly indicate the placement of all elements (logos, graphics, text, etc.).

   • This allows us to properly scale the design to the full size of the shade and the window opening.

   • Why this step matters: It ensures that when we print the memo, the font size, graphics, and background appear at the correct proportion and scale.

2. Color Memo Sample (Printed after digital proof approval) Once the digital proof is approved, we can produce a physical color memo sample that includes a portion of your logo or graphic printed at the actual scale it will appear on the finished shade.

How to Submit Your Custom Printed Shade Project

Once you’ve filled out the Texas Outdoor Shades Printed Cut Sheet, simply email it to us along with your artwork.

Please include:

• Completed fillable PDF worksheet

• High-resolution artwork or logo files

• Desired memo sample size (6" x 12", 12" x 12", 24" x 24", or 48" x 48")

• Instructions for text size and placement (so we can scale the design properly on the full shade)

• Required paint color match (if applicable): Check the box on the worksheet for Sherwin Williams or Benjamin Moore color matching. Note that some logos require specific color matching for accurate branding.

After we receive your files, we’ll prepare a digital proof for your review. Once you approve the digital proof, we’ll print and ship your color memo sample.
